All, so that 7,000 athletes from 54 volunteer member countries around the world (only Mozambique & Rwanda were not British colonies) could show off their skills and put India ‘on a world map’ to showcase our competitiveness with China.
42 people died for this. There might be more, but who gives a damn? They don’t even know who the 42 on the list are.
