We posted the story of a Tucson restaurant that wanted to serve lion meat tacos for $8.75.
The story ends happily. The restaurant has canceled plans to serve the king of the jungle in a taco because it received “many threats on the safety of our restaurant, our families, our customers and our vendors,” its owner said Monday night.
Exotic Meats, the online store run by Anshu Pathak also seems to have taken lion meat off the website. We’re hoping this means lion meat is off their menu as well.
All’s well that ends well.
